We are a family owned business in Suffolk, dating back to 1927
H G Moore & Son was established in 1927 by Harry Moore, the grandfather of the current owner, David Moore
Harry had a small-holding and took his livestock to the local market in Bury St Edmunds. It wasn’t long before he was asked to back load for the local butcher. Word soon spread that Harry had a lorry and work steadily grew - H G Moore & Son was founded. Being a part of a rural community, it wasn’t long before the local farming community were making use of Harry’s services and a second lorry was purchased to cope with the demand.
